Funding

The Novo Nordisk Foundation, Lundbeck Foundation and LEO Foundation have granted DKK 123 million over a 6-year period (September 2024 – August 2030) to establish and operate the center.

During the center’s lifetime, it will gradually be embedded in the pharmaceutical sciences departments at UCPH and SDU to ensure sustainability.

Societal impact

• The life science and healthcare industry, agencies, hospitals and pharmacies will gain access to a qualified workforce with advanced pharmaceutical data science skills.
• National universities will develop educational programs based on discoveries and needs.
